Elizabeth Guy, owner of Bean Counter Bookkeeping, has a decade of business experience in numerous industries including, logistics, manufacturing, computers, property management, advertising, transportation, and construction. As a controller for 3 years she managed a full charge accounting staff and worked closely with the owner in financial decision making. She has participated in the start up of several small businesses and understands first hand the hardships that small businesses face.
Elizabeth's passion for small business and community involvement, coupled with her degree from the University of Arizona, led her to start up her own bookkeeping business in 2006. The main focus of her business is to provide small business owners in the community the tools to effectively manage their business success. Not only does she crunch the numbers, she provides simple solutions for gathering data, and plays an active role in helping business owners utilize their financials to make sound business decisions. Elizabeth believes every owner should know the “financial score” of their business on a monthly basis. After all, you wouldn’t sweat it out on the golf course all day without knowing your score at the 18th hole!
Elizabeth combines her entrepreneurial spirit and her knowledge of accounting with the full-time job of being a mom to two daughters. Her business success comes from her ability to understand and appreciate many different companies’ values and goals. If you dream it… then do it!
